Design and Prototype Laboratory

The Design and Prototype Laboratory has extensive experience in the construction and modernization of technological nodes, installations for removing volatile compounds from painting equipment, ventilation and extract ventilation systems, as well as building non-standard equipment for technological research or testing properties of finished products. Depending on the customer needs, the work comes in distinct stages. It may include: making the necessary measurements, developing the measurements results and, making, on their basis, design assumptions. Next, the project is a set up and run, up to assembling and commissioning the installation or device and checking and evaluating its operation. The scope and possible stages of commissioned work are agreed with the client each time.

The Design and Prototype Laboratory with workshop facilities offers:

• apparatus for determining: static bending strength, elastic modulus and tensile strength perpendicular to the plane of the plate,
• test chamber for determining formaldehyde emissions by gas analysis,
• solvent recovery installation,
• design services and technical advice on framing constructions,
• high-concentration mass milling stations for the fiberboard industry,
• the grinding stations for the high concentrated pulps (fiber masses) for the fiberboard industry,
• metal machining services
• welding of aluminium, acid resistant and stainless steel,
• other products and equipment.
